If a router interface has been created for the VCL interface (ADSL2+ interface
or IMA Group over SHDSL), there are two options:
o
The VCL interface was already configured via the VCL Interface menu
with atmConfVcConnected set to VAL_atmConfVcConnected_bridgePort.
In this case, it must be set to Bridged PDU.
o
The VCL interface is created during this session the same together with
all the other ATM Router Interfaces. In this case, it must be set to
Routed PDU.
•
The only router interface parameters that can be changed on the fly, is
'Management access'.
•
The number of ATM-type router interfaces is limited to 2.
•
The maximum number of PW type router interfaces is 2.
•
The maximum number of bridge type interfaces is 1.
Setting the Static Route Parameters
For remote manager IPs and peers that are located in a subnet different than
that of the router interface, you need to assign static route parameters.

To access the static route parameters:
•
From the Router menu (see

The Static Route menu is displayed.
