Configuration Sequence
The configuration necessary for ACE-3205 as shown in
includes two
primary configuration stages:
a.
Configuring the unit for CES over ATM traffic – which includes:
Configuring an SHDSL IMA Group
Configuring the CES Cross-Connect (XC).
b.
Configuring the unit for ATM over PSN traffic – which includes:
Configuring an ADSL2+ Router Interface
Defining a Pseudowire Connection

Configuring the Unit for CES over ATM Traffic
CES traffic (E1/T1 TDM) from the BTS is received by ACE-3205 and then
transmitted towards the ATM network via bonded SHDSL.bis links. Accordingly,
this part of the application (see
) requires the configuration of E1/T1
ports, an IMA group for the SHDSL links, and CES over ATM cross-connects (XCs).
