Installation_
receiver tank, etc.
Inlet connection
_
Among the two inlets on the side,
according to the level of the inlet, connect using a ball valve
and union as shown in the figure. The connecting inlet
should have a horizontal or downward sloping flow and
should not be angled upwards, such as on a camel, to
connect to the trap. This is because condensate does not
naturally flow into the trap.
Balance line
_
Use a pneumatic hose or metal tube
(6-8 mm) to connect a balance line with the same pressure
as the inlet pressure. The balance line is usually taken from
a level above the level where the condensate collects
(mainly from the gauge if it is a tank).

installation Tip :
https://acetrap.com/eng/acetrap/installation.html
To facilitate the inflow of condensate in places where it is
difficult to connect the balance line, install Air Vent
2
.
In this case, use the lower of the two on the side of the
housing for the inlet, and install the air vent on the side of
the balance line on the top of the housing. Air vents are
optional and must be ordered separately.
This installation method is used when
the inlet line goes from top to bottom
without bending. In this case, the
balance line is unnecessary, and you
can connect it directly to the top of
the housing entrance as shown in the
figure.

The air vent should
always be slightly
opened, and it should be
checked frequently.
(If it is not opened, condensate will not enter the trap and
it will not work).
