4.6 Calls
Once you have inserted a SIM card, you can of course use
your Acepad to make calls. To do so, simply tap the icon with
the handset and tap the keypad icon in the lower right corner
to dial the number.
You can add your friends and family either by tapping the
contacts logo in right and selecting “Create New Contact” or
by launching the “Contacts” app.
4.7 GPS Navigation
To activate location sharing, navigate to “
Security & location
-> Location
” in the settings.
This is where you can determine the location authorizations
for individual applications, such as navigation.
4.8 External keyboard information
If you purchased the Acepad in a bundle with an external
keyboard, it may be necessary to set the external keyboard
to your preferred layout first.
To do this, navigate to “
System -> Languages & input ->
Physical Keyboard
” in the settings and set up your language.
The @ sign then works with the combination: Shift + 2 (US
layout) or Shift + ‘ (UK layout)
To access the settings, for example to adjust your security
or font size, tap on the three dots at the top right and scroll
down in this menu to “Settings”.
Under “Home page” in the settings, you can then change the
default home page.
