Rapid Charge
The computer uses rapid charge when the
computer is in suspend mode with a powered AC
adapter connected. Using rapid charge, a depleted
battery charges fully in approximately two hours.
Charge-In-Use
The computer uses charge-in-use when the
computer is in use with a powered AC adapter
connected. Using charge-in-use, a depleted battery
charges fully in approximately four hours.
Trickle Charge
When the battery is fully charged and a powered

trickle charge to maintain the battery charge and
prevent the battery from draining while the

while you sleep. For example, charging the
battery the night before traveling provides a fully
charged battery for use the next day.
