Required cables/
connectors
Most external keyboards and numeric keypads
are equipped with a built-in cable with PS/2
connector. Most pointing devices have a PS/2
connector, although some may have a serial
connector.
Connecting directly
to the computer
The computer has only one PS/2 port.
•
Attach the selected PS/2 device to the PS/2
port.
•
If you attach an external PS/2-type
keyboard to the computer and also wish to
connect an external mouse, connect a serial
mouse to the notebook’s serial port.
