System Security
The System Security sub-menu allows you to safeguard your computer and data
with passwords and other security measures.
The following table describes the parameters in this screen. Settings in boldface
are the default and suggested parameter settings.

When set, this password protects the computer and
this BIOS Utility from unauthorized entry. See the

Password
When set, this password protects the hard disk
from unauthorized access. See the following

Processor Serial
Number
The Pentium III processor includes a unqiue serial
number which allows individual CPUs to be
identified. You can turn off this feature by setting
this parameter to Disabled.
