SETTINGS
In standby mode, the following monitor settings can be adjusted: doorbell selection, ring volume, and brightness and saturation
of the image.
The ringing volume is adjusted with the
+
or
-
icons. The first time one of these icons is touched, the monitor will play the set
doorbell and will show the currently set volume on the volume bar. Then, touching the
+
or
-
sets the desired volume or, touching the
F2
icon changes the bell (each subsequent touch of the
F2
icon sets another doorbell).
Image parameters are set with the
+
or
-
icons when the view is displayed (by touching the
monitor
icon in standby mode). At
the first touch of one of these icons, the monitor shows the brightness line on the display. Then, by touching the
+
or
-
icons the desired
image brightness is set, or by touching the
F2
icon the colour saturation is adjusted.
If nothing has been changed in ca. 5 s, the monitor will save the current settings and return to standby mode.
SYSTEM ASSEMBLY AND CONNECTION
Monitor installation
The installation should start from the surface mounting plate. It has three longitudinal holes and one single hole,
from which the assembly should begin. The other holes' layout facilitates levelling the already mounted plate. On the left side of the
monitor (looking at the display) there is the microphone. The monitor should be installed in such a place, where the microphone is not
covered.
Address programming
Monitor and intercom addresses can be set with the switches located in the back of the monitor. To make the
monitor responsive to the appropriate button of calls from the external panel, the addresses should be set correctly: the monitor address
must correspond to the address assigned to the call button in the external panel. Addresses from 1 up to 127 can be set with the switches
(higher addresses are only available from the level of the computer application and the optional PRO-USB module). Setting an address:
The
IM
switch changes the intercom operation mode. Switching the switch ON makes the intercom dependent on the
monitor address. Then two intercom addresses (1 and 2) are available, which operate only within the monitor address, and
a third intercom address (3), operating independently of the monitor address. When the switch is OFF, all 3 intercom
addresses are independent of the monitor address.
Connection
It is recommended to connect the monitor in accordance
with the diagram using RJ45 connectors and twisted pair cable (UTP
cable of cat. 5e or higher). In this case, the maximum connection lengths
are: 100 m between the external panel and the power supply, and 70m
between the monitor and the power supply (information about the longer
connection lengths can be found in the
Operation Manual of the COMO
PRO Digital Panel
). All connectors must be clamped in line with the
T568B standard.
Before switching on the power supply, make sure
that all connections have been made according to the diagram, the RJ45 plugs are properly clamped and there are no short
circuits between the wires.
The panel connection must be executed
while the power supply is off
.
