Rear Panel I/O Connectors
P12, 10-36Vdc Power connector
A 10-volt to 36-volt DC power supply can be used to supply power to the ACEX4041.
The board is protected with F4 SMD 8A SMD (Surface Mount Device) Fuse. The Connector is a
Phoenix Contact 3-pin term block header 1757488.
Connector Pin assignments
Earth Ground is connected to Digital Ground at R227 (0-ohm, resister).
J10, Dual Ethernet connector
1Gb Ethernet ports. LAN 1 is the bottom and LAN 2 is the top. These are standard RJ45 Ethernet
jacks. Green Led indicates link speed, Yellow LED indicates activity. If the Green LED is not on the
connection speed is below 1000 Mbps or not connected.
J8, Dual USB 3.0 connector
USB 3.0 ports support speed of 5Gb/s. Port one is on the bottom and port 2 is on the top. This is a
standard USB 3.0 connection.
J9, Mini-Display Port Connector
This is also known as MiniDP or mDP. This is a miniaturized version of the standard Display Port
audio-visual digital interface.
J6 and J7, AcroPack Field I/O connectors.
Described in AcroPack Field I/O connectors section. This shows the location A, B, C, D.
Field I/O connections are made via two 68-pin, Stacked, 0.8 mm Champ cable connectors mounted
on the front panel. The AcroPack module identifier (A to D) is marked above for easy identification.
Cables and termination panels (or user defined terminations) can be quickly mated to the field I/O
connectors. Pin assignments are defined by the installed AcroPack module
