The DT233-0600 Dual Transmitter provides two isolated ANSI/ISA Type II
transmitter channels for thermocouple/mV input signals that drive two isolated
loop-powered passive current outputs. This model interfaces with thermocouple
Type J, K, T, R, S, B, E, N, or ±100mV input signals at separately isolated inputs, and
modulates two isolated 2-wire current loops proportional to their respective input.
This dual channel transmitter may optionally operate as a single channel 1
transmitter, or as a channel 1 signal splitter.
Channels of this transmitter are setup and calibrated using a wired USB connection
to a Windows-based PC running configuration software (Windows 7 and later
versions only), or an Android-based tablet or smartphone running our Agility mobile
APP. The unit provides isolated output signals linearized to isolated input
temperatures with independently adjustable input and output ranges, °C or °F unit
selection, variable input filtering, and user-programmable or Namur output range
clamp/fault levels.
Key Features
•
Two isolated DT transmitter channels in a 17.5mm wide enclosure for high-
density DIN-rail mounting doubles the density of our TT series.
•
This dual transmitter is very flexible in that it may also function as a single
transmitter, or signal splitter.
•
Unit is digitally setup/calibrated via wired USB to a Windows-based personal
computer, or USB-OTG to an Android tablet or smartphone.
•
Adjustable input ranges and adjustable output ranges. Transmitter inputs
and outputs can be scaled independently and differently for each channel.
•
Unit supports TC Type J, K, T, R, S, B, E, N, or ±100mV inputs.
•
Each transmitter channel has high measurement accuracy & linearity w/24-bit
input & 16-bit output conversion.
•
Its passive current outputs are linearized with respect to TC temperature and
include accurate Cold Junction Compensation in each channel.
•
Supports both Celsius and Fahrenheit temperature configuration Variable
input filter adjustment for each channel.
•
Supports up-scale or down-scale lead-break/burnout detection.
•
Variable input filter adjustment (none, low, medium, high).
•
Each 2-wire loop-powered transmitter has non-polarized output connections.
•
Transmitters have very low loop burden with terminal voltage down to 7V.
•
Can transmit Normal or reverse acting output(s).
•
You may program your own output clamp limits or select Namur compliant
range/limits, helpful to discern over-range conditions from fault detection.
•
Extra output connection screw for optional
“

”
output wiring.
•
Wide ambient temperature operation.
•
Thoroughly tested and hardened for harsh environments.
•
CE Approved.
•
FCC Conformity Class B
•
cULus Listed - Class I/Division 2 - Haz. Loc., ATEX, & IECEx.
