Note:
Shaded cells refer to the calibration range end points used to calibrate the full range of the T/C type for this
model. Bold column entries refer to the nominal T/C input range end points of this model.
2
Note:
CJC temperature values are resolved to 0.05°C increments using internal lookup tables corresponding to the T/C
type. This means that if an input is scaled to a small input span, its reading may appear less accurate with CJC ON, as
±0.05°C becomes a greater percentage of a smaller span.
The voltage measured from a T/C reflects the difference in temperature between its two ends. To discern the actual
temperature at the remote/hot end (in the table above), the unit must subtract the equivalent thermoelectric voltage of
the opposite/cold end from its measurement (usually referred to as its Cold Junction reading). This unit senses the
temperature of its TB1 and TB3 terminals to cold-junction compensate its T/C readings and remove the portion of the
measured voltages that correspond to their cold junctions.
