Transmitters.
This dual channel transmitter is designed for high-density mounting with channel
pairs mounted side-by-side on 17.5mm centers to 35mm T-type DIN rails.
DT233 models isolate two channels of thermocouple or millivoltage input. Each
channel is independently configured and modulates a corresponding isolated 4-
20mA current loop that is linear to sensor temperature or input voltage.
Each transmitter output is a passive 2-wire current loop, allowing it to transmit 4-
20mA over long distances with high noise immunity. The inherent live-zero 4mA
offset of the current loop offers built-in output fault detection, should an output
wire break. An extra connection screw at each transmitter output allow it to be
optionally wired as
a “sourced” 4
-20mA output (see Optional Output Wiring).
