Locating Computer Information
The following procedure is valid for Windows

1.
From the desktop, right-click on
My Computer
.

Select
Properties
from the menu that appears.
3.
When the “System Properties” window appears, select
General
.
The version of the operating system, processor type, and amount of
RAM
installed in the computer are listed here.

Close the System Properties window.

From the desktop, double-click on
My Computer
.

Right-click the icon representing your hard disk (Local Disk [C:], for exam-
ple). Some computers have multiple hard disks.

From the menu that appears, select
Properties
.

When the window appears, select
General
.
9.
The free space value is the available space on the hard disk.
10.
Close all windows.
