6.4. PERIODIC MAINTENANCE
Maintenance tasks and time intervals are provided in Table 6.1.
Annual M3 include also works from M2. When performing M3 no further M2 is required
within this period.

Inspect the System visually, remove dust and dirt
from mechanisms and assemblies, adjust and re-
store mechanical connections.

Check insulation of electric wires monitor ground cir-
cuit resistance.
3.
Remove housings, inspect PCBs of system elec-
tronic modules, wash PCB connector pins in alcohol,
and install the housings back.
4.
Check the performance of the drive-motor and
the shutter drive.
5.
Inspect the timing belts' wearness.
6.
Calibrate the System operating modes.
7.
Monitor the System detectability.
8.
Check the performance of the System.
9.
Check the operation of the Operator’s AWS.
10.
Carry out the survey of the radiation dose rate in
areas accessible to personnel.*
* - radiation survey shall be performed at least once every 12 months or after any repair
or replacement that affects the X-Ray generator, generator shielding, shutter mechanism or
beam limiting device.
