The knife blades
It is recommended that you replace all
blades and screws (at the same time)
after each season to ensure a good cut-
ting result. (keep an eye on the blades
and change more often if necessary).
The blades are easy to change. All
you need is a star screwdriver (switch
off the robot before working with the
blades). Unscrew the screw and remove
any dirt and grass debris from the blade
disc. Replace the blades with new ones
and replace the screws at the same
time. Use the extra blades and screws
supplied. Make sure the blade screws
are properly tightened.
Note:
All 3 blades must be changed at
the same time to avoid imbalance.
Important:
Check the blade screws
when turning the blades. As the blade’s
rotations cut into the screw, it is neces-
sary to change the screws at the same
time as the blades.
Use original blades only.
WINTER STORAGE
For the last mowing session of the year,
the cutting height should not be set
lower than 40 mm. If the grass is cut
lower, this will weaken the root network
and can lead to yellow patches.
When storing the robotic mower for
the winter, it is recommended that the
robot and charging station are brought
inside and stored in a warm, dry place
and that the main switch (OFF) is
turned off to protect the battery. Charge
the robotic mower’s battery via the sup-
plied charging station before bringing
the robot in for the winter.
The robot lawnmower battery is a
maintenance-free lithium battery with
an estimated lifetime of up to 3-5 years,
depending on use, environment and
winter maintenance. The batteries do
not tolerate frost!
It is recommended that you also take
the charging station indoors in winter.
The boundary wire must NOT be
removed!
It is important to charge the robot
lawnmower 1-2 times during winter
storage (at least every 3 months) to
ensure the health of the battery.
Take
the robot lawnmower and put it in the
charging station. Let it fully charge for
2-3 hours (this can be done indoors).
Then take the robot out of the charging
station again and leave it in a warm, dry
place.
If these winter charges are not fol-
lowed, there is a risk that the battery
will lose capacity or break completely
(this is not covered by the warranty).
Check that all bolts, screws and nuts are
tightened correctly, as this ensures the
best working conditions for the robot.
Replace worn and damaged parts.
