After powering up all the system(s), you need to set the operating
mode. By default, the controller’s operating mode is set to active-
active single-port and the internal hub is set to
Enabled
. This
topology is for stand-alone dual-port and will need to be changed.

Access the Controller menu from the OCP and select the
appropriate controller (Controller 1 or Controller 2).

From the System menu, select
Configuration
, then select
Option Configuration
.

From the Option Configuration menu, select
Operating Mode
,
select
StandAlone Dual Port
, then press
Enter
to set this
selection.

Press
Esc
to return to the previous menus.
Active-Active Dual-Port, Hubs Disabled
The following diagram illustrates the logical connection of the
active-active dual-port topology with hubs disabled.
Note:
All ports are independent and active.
