HXU-357 Interface State Descriptions
The default configuration for the HXU-357 DS3 interface (
) is
Out-of-Service and requires no equipping. To perform DS3 maintenance
loopbacks and change DS3 parameters, the DS3 interface must be configured
as Out-of-Service.
The HXU-357 DS1 interface (
) is configured as
Unequipped and Out-of-Service to prevent alarm reporting and to allow
changing of DS1 parameters during installation. Once a line is installed, it
should be configured as Equipped and In-Service.
