lower priorities. The user is responsible for choosing
priorities and polling intervals properly (for example:
configuring a short polling interval and a high priority for
too many stations may result in RTUs of lower priority
never being polled).
•
The A850 supports polling multiple RTUs in parallel if
they are reached using different modems or A440
interfaces.
•
Statistics and monitoring: The A850 supports A850 and RTU
network statistics:
•
load, memory and disk usage of the A850,
•
average delay and average radio error rates for the RTUs.
•
Sensors: The RF quality, the battery level and the internal
temperature of the RTU as well as the statistical data for
average RTU delay time and average RTU connection quality
may be considered as data from internal sensors of an RTU.
This means that the data representing these parameters can
be used by addVANTAGE like data from normal sensors.
•
User interface: All interactions between the user and the A850
(configuration, monitoring, diagnostics, ...) are done by a
JAVA based Graphical User Interface (GUI).
Note: An A440 device connected to an A850 must have firmware
revision 3.0.0 or newer.
CAUTION
The A850 do not support addVANTAGE 3.x software
and the A730MD RTU.
