Debugging tools
For cases where starting the Configurator does not work or is not
desired, you may use the following links to retrieve basic debug-
ging information:
•
“Download important debugging information to a local file”
allows you in case of possible problems to download the
most important information about the status of your A850 for
problem analysis to your PC and to save it in a local file,
•
“Download all debugging information to a local file” allows
you in case of possible problems to download all available
information about the status of your A850 for problem
analysis to your PC and to save it in a local file,
•
“View important debugging information” allows you in case
of possible problems to retrieve the most important
information about the status of your A850 and to get it
displayed via your web browser.
Note: In order to be able to use the “Debugging tools”, you have
to login as system administrator (user “root”) or as user
administrator (user “admin”).
Configuration tools
For cases where starting the Configurator does not work or is not
desired, you may use the following links to backup and restore the
configuration:
•
“Backup the configuration to a local file”: the command
“Backup” allows you to save the data from the A850 locally
on your PC, giving you the opportunity to replay these data
later again into the A850 by the command “Restore” which
allows you to reestablish the state stored by “Backup”(see
Configuration

);
•
“View the configuration in your browser”: view a XML-based
information of the actual configuration of the A850;
•
“Restore the configuration from local file”: the command
“Restore” allows you to reload data from the A850 saved by
the command “Backup” on your PC again into the A850 if
you want to reestablish a certain state of the A850 (see
Configuration
