Preparation:
Open the battery cover at the bottom side of the scale and insert the supplied batteries
(4 x 1.5V AAA). Please ensure the correct polarity of the battery (+/-).
There is a little push button UNIT at the bottom side of the scale for country specific
settings with the option to switch from kg = kilogram to lb = pound. Please pay attention
to use the scale under consideration of the country specific unit of weight.
4. Weighing function (weight measurement only)
1. Switch on the scale by using the step-on-function. Just step on the scale. Remain
stationary on the weighing platform and do not hold you tight.
2. After the scale levelled-off, your weight will be indicated for 10 seconds. Step off the
scale after weighing. The scale will switch off automatically after a few seconds.
3. If you remain on the weighing platform, the analyser scale automatically switches into
the measuring mode and starts the body analyses.
Alternatively: Switch-on the scale by using the tap-on-function. For this, tap with your
foot on centre of the scale. The display indicates the signal “8888“ and a few seconds
later “0.0 kg”. Now the scale is ready to use.
5. Programming / Enter of personal data
Before first time use your personal data like body height, age, gender (male or female)
and your activity level (A1 – A5) must be programmed and saved under selected
locations 01 to 08 (up to 8 persons). The enter keys are located below the display. To
enter your personal data please utilise the buttons: SET (save button),

(plus button) and follow the particular points (numbers quick run-off by pressing the
◄
or
►
button for longer than 1 second):
1. Press the SET-button while the scale is switched-off or – alternatively - switch-on the
scale by using the tap-on-function. For this, tap on the centre of the scale. The display
indicates the signal “8888“ and a few seconds later “0.0 kg”. Now press the SET-
button for one second.
2. The indication to select your personal location (default 01) starts to flash. To select
your required location (01 to 08) press the

or
►
button. After the selection of your
personal location, press the SET-button to save the reading.
3. After you’ve selected your personal location, the symbol for body height (default
165 cm) starts to flash. To select your body heights press the
◄
or
►
button. After
the selection of your body heights, press the SET-button to save the reading.
4. After you’ve selected your body height, the symbol for age (default 30) starts to flash.
To enter your age press the

or

button. After the selection of your age, press the
SET-button to save the reading.
5. After you’ve selected your age, the symbol for gender, male or female (default male)
starts to flash. To select your gender press the
◄
or

button. After the selection of
your gender, press the SET-button to save the reading.
6. After you’ve selected your gender the symbol for your activity level (default A2) starts to
flash (A1 = no sport, A2 = occasional sport, A3 = regular sport, A4 = daily sport, A5 =
athlete). To enter your activity level press the

button. After the selection of your
activity level, press the SET-button to save the reading.
The scale indicates once again your selected personal location. That settles the
completion of input and the scale returns to the indication “0.0 kg”. The scale is ready to
use and you may now start your body analysis. Without further activity the scale
automatically power-off. Your personal data are stored.
If you push the
◄
or

button within 2 seconds after the first complete input, you can
directly enter the personal data of a further person. Alternatively, you repeat the complete
steps listed below for further entries of personal data.
6. Body Analysis
An analysis is only possible in bare feet. Your personal data must be entered first (please
see page 4-5).
1. Switch-on the scale by using the tap-on-function. The display indicates the signal
“8888“ and afterwards “0.0 kg”.
2. Select your personal location by using the

or

button. At first, your personal data
will be displayed and shortly after “0.0 kg“ will be indicated.
3. Now, carefully step in bare feet on the stainless steel strips (measuring units) of the
scale and remain stationary.
3. After the scales levelled-off, your weight will be indicating. Afterwards, while the
measurement is taking place the signal “
□
□
□
□
” will appear. During this time, remain
stationary on the scale.
4. After completion of the measurement your body fat %, your body water %, your
muscle mass % and your bone mass kg will be shown successively two times.
After a few seconds the scale switch-off automatically.
