ASSEMBLY

Fitting the bowl

Drop the bowl onto the motor body with the arrow aligned to 

• 

the unlock symbol on the housing. 
Rotate  the  bowl  clockwise  until  the  arrow  aligns  with  the 

• 

lock symbol as shown and the bowl locks in place.

NOTE:  Check  that  the  bowl  is  fitted  with  the  measuring  scale 

visible.

OPERATION

First use

Before using your chopper for the first time you should ensure 

that the bowl, lid and blade assembly are thoroughly cleaned.

Remove the bowl, lid and blade assembly.

• 

Carefully  remove  any  protective  packaging  from  the  blade 

• 

assembly.
Hand-wash  the  bowl,  lid  and  blade  assembly  in  hot  soapy 

• 

water. Take care when washing the blade as it is sharp.
Dry thoroughly before re-assembly.

• 

Food suitable for chopping

The chopper can be used to chop meat, fruit, vegetables, fresh 

garlic and ginger, hard cheeses, nuts and herbs (coarse chop).
Do  not  use  the  unit  to  chop  hard  ingredients  such  as  coffee 

beans, ice cubes,  mixtures containing fruit stones cereals and 

chocolate in lumps as these may damage the blades.
Never  chop  any  food  such  as  soups  etc  which  have  liquid 

content.
Never chop any hot food.
