Integrated Peripherals > Super I/O Device > LPT1 Set-
ting / FDD
This menu allows setup of LPT1 resources or disabling
of LPT1 and setting the mode to FDD. After enabling the
FDD, select the correct specifications for the diskette
drive:
Z
None: No diskette drive installed
Z
360K: 5-1/4 inch PC-type standard drive
Z
1.2M: 5-1/4 inch AT-type high-density drive
Z
720K: 3-1/2 inch double-sided drive
Z
1.44M: 3-1/2 inch double-sided drive
Z
2.88M: 3-1/2 inch double-sided drive

Video. Select the type of primary video subsystem in your
computer. The BIOS usually detects the correct video type
automatically. Options are:
Z
EGA/VGA For EGA, VGA, SEGA, SVGA or PGA monitor
adapters.
Z
CGA 40 Power up in 40 columns mode.
Z
CGA 80 Power up in 80 columns mode.
Z
MONO For Hercules or MDA adapters.

Halt On. During the power-on self-test (POST), the com-
puter stops if the BIOS detects a hardware error. You can
tell the BIOS to ignore certain errors during POST and con-
tinue the boot-up process. These are the selections:
Z
No errors: POST does not stop for any errors.
Z
All errors: If any non-fatal error, POST stops and
prompts to take corrective action.
Z
All, But Keyboard: POST does not stop for a keyboard
error, but stops for all other errors
Z
All, But Diskette: POST does not stop for diskette drive
errors, but stops for all other errors
Z
All, But Disk/Key: POST does not stop for keyboard /
disk error, but stops for all other errors.
