7. Precautions
Make sure that the controller has been reliably installed and that the joystick is vertically
upward in its central position.
Sit firmly, fasten your seatbelt, lean your body against the backrest and lean your head back
as far as possible to prevent bumps on the way
After powered on check, firstly, whether the maximum speed indicated by the speed light
on the controller is suitable for you. If not, please adjust it with the speed up/down buttons
on the controller. For your security, preferably use a slow speed at first and gradually
increase it.
If the joystick moves toward an unexpected direction, please release the joystick at once.
This will cause the wheelchair to cease movement immediately
8. Hazards
Do not use the wheelchair in the following cases:
1) The cases prohibited in this user’s manual such as an incline steeper than the maximum
slope approachable, barriers too high, highways, motor vehicles, highways, motor vehicle
lanes etc.
2) In some places or on some surfaces where the wheelchair may skid, such as a wet grassy
slope.
3) If the control system or other crucial components need to be repaired.
9. Electro-Magnetic Interference
Your wheelchair may be travelling in the areas affected by electromagnetic interference
from some radio transmitters such as radio, wireless intercom, mobile phone, radars etc. in
these cases, your wheelchair’s movement may be affected by them
CAUTION:
Keep your feet on the
footplates; don’t extend them out of the
footplates.
Don’t extend your arms out of the armrests during your driving.
Ensure that the wheelchair is not in freewheel mode before you
use or leave it
WARNING!
Electronic equipment may be affected by Electro-Magnetic
Interference (EMI). If the wheelchair exhibits abnormal situations
due to EMI, please turn the power off immediately, stop using the
wheelchair and consult your service agent. ADP Designs accepts no
legal liability for losses of any kind arising from failure to comply
witjh this condition.
