Set the DS-3 MUX to “Loop Timing.”
E.
Set up a Network Loopback on the DS-3 MUX.

Set the LBO to “Long” on the DS-3 MUX.
G.
Verify that the wideband jitter is
≤
5.0 UI and the highband jitter is
≤
0.1 UI, where 1 UI = 22.4 ns.
