Problem: Brushes will not come up.

Start the engine and check to see if the hopper will move up and down and if the dump door will open.
•
If the hopper lift and hopper dump door operate properly, go to step 4.
•
If the hopper lift and hopper dump door do not operate, stop the engine and go to step 2.

Check fuse F5.
•
If the fuse is blown, replace it.
•
If fuse is not blown, go to step 3.

Remove the cover panel at the lower-left corner of the machine, for access to the cylinder control valve.
•
Turn the key switch to the on position, but do not start the engine.
•
Put the brush switch (on the dashboard) in the BRUSHES ON position.
•
Check the voltage at the S3 solenoid valve coil (between the black/white wire and the frame).
•
12 volts - S3 solenoid valve or coil defective.
•
0 volts - look for a defect in the orange wire connected to fuse F5.
