Safety Instructions
1.
Read these safety instructions carefully.
2.
Retain this user manual for future reference.
3.
This device should only be repaired by trained service personnel.
4.
Advantech recommends that a service contract be obtained with Advantech
customer service for carrying out all repairs, otherwise the correct functioning of
the device may be compromised.
5.
If any of the following occurs, have the equipment checked by qualified service
personnel:

The power cord or plug is damaged.
–
Liquid has penetrated the equipment.
–
The equipment has been exposed to moisture.
–
The equipment is malfunctioning or does not operate according to the user
manual.
–
The equipment has been dropped and damaged.
–
The equipment shows obvious signs of breakage.
6.
Disconnect the equipment from all power outlets before cleaning. Use only a
damp cloth for cleaning. Do not use liquid or spray detergents.
7.
Protect the equipment from humidity.
8.
For pluggable equipment, the power outlet socket must be located near the
equipment and easily accessible.
9.
Place the equipment on a reliable surface during installation. Dropping or letting
the equipment fall may cause damage.
10.
Do not leave this equipment in an uncontrolled environment where the storage
temperature is below 0 °C / 32 °F or above 45 °C / 113 °F. This may damage the
equipment.
Ne laissez pas cet équipement dans un environnement non contrôlé où la
température de stockage est inférieure à 0 °C / 32 °F ou supérieure à 45 °C /
113 °F. Ceci pourrait endommager l'équipement.

Grounding reliability can only be achieved when the equipment is connected to
an equivalent receptacle marked “hospital only” or “hospital grade”.

Use a power cord that has been approved and complies with the safety stan

dards of your country and that matches the voltage of the power outlet.
Warning!
Because of the danger of electric shock, never remove the case of a
device while it is in operation or connected to a power outlet.

reil lorsqu'il est en fonctionnement ou branché à une prise de courant.
Caution!
To avoid short circuits and damage to the device, do not allow fluids to
come into contact with the device. If fluids are accidentally spilled on the
equipment, remove the affected unit from service as soon as possible
and contact service personnel to verify that patient safety is not compro-
mised.
Pour éviter les courts-circuits et endommager l'appareil, ne laissez pas
les liquides entrer en contact avec l'appareil. Si des liquides sont acci-
dentellement répandus sur l'équipement, retirez l'unité concernée du
service dès que possible et contactez le personnel de service pour véri-
fier que la sécurité du patient n'est pas compromise.
