Introduction
With the AMI BIOS Setup Utility, you can modify BIOS settings and control the spe
-
cific features of your computer. The Setup Utility uses a number of menus for making
changes and turning the specific features on or off. This chapter describes the basic
navigation of the AIMB-788 setup screens.

AMI’s BIOS ROM has a built-in Setup program that allows users to modify the basic
system configuration. This information is stored in NVRAM area so it retains the
Setup information when the power is turned off.
