6.2.1 Serial Console
The Shelf Manager serial terminal can be accessed via the front panel mini-USB
connector (refer to
for the connector location). A Silicon Labs CP2102 USB
to UART Bridge Controller is utilized as UART interface for the Shelf Manager. Most
Operating Systems do already come with driver support for the CP210x. The latest
driver for different Operating Systems can be obtained from the Silicon Labs
Homepage:
https://www.silabs.com/products/mcu/Pages/USBtoUARTBridgeVCPDriver
Please follow the provided instructions for downloading and installing the driver.
The parameters to access the serial console are:
