The PXE client in the SKY-
8101D sends the system’s GUID as part of the DHCP Request. Some boot servers
have mechanisms to automati
cally configure the target OS image based on the client system’s GUID. Using
this mechanism allows to use the same boot server for network booting of different devices/servers.
Booting the client with Legacy option:
Power up the client system and go to the BIOS by hitting the DEL key. Once you are in the bios track to the
POST & BOOT tab, then inside the CSM Parameters there select the Network option to Legacy. After doing this
do not for get to change the boot sequence.
