4. OPERATION
NOTE
• The generator has been shipped without engine oil.
Fill with oil or it will not start.
• Do not tilt the generator when adding engine oil. This
could result in overfilling and damage the engine.
STARTING THE ENGINE
NOTE
• Before starting the engine, ensure there are no
appliances connected to the generator until the
engine has come to an idle.
PULL START
1. Open the fuel tank air vent to the
OPEN
position.
2. Turn the fuel petcock lever to the
ON
position.
3.
When starting the generator for the first time,
press
the
primer bulb 6 times
after filling with Petrol.
4. Turn the choke lever to the

│
CHOKE
position.
Not necessary if the engine is warm.
