Our kayaks are made of high-density linear polyethylene, which is virtually maintenance free.
A minimal amount of care in storage and transporting will help the kayak maintain a like-new
condition for many years.
Usually, a quick rinse of fresh water is all that is necessary to keep your hull clean and functioning
in good order. This is very important after paddling in salt water, to thoroughly rise the hull off and
all your accessories.
Be sure to empty the kayak of all water. Store indoors or in the shade. Do don’t store in sunlight
for long periods of time.
Remove adjustable rod holders, seat and any personal belongings from the kayak prior to
transportation. Please ensure your kayak is safely secured before transit.
