TDR Setups Tab
The “TDR Setup” figure 5-10 is used to upload, edit, and download TDR setups
to the TDR. The edited setups can be uploaded directly to the TDR or stored on
the PC for later recall and upload.
NOTE: When this tab initially opens the values shown will be grey fonts
indicating they are not current data or values set in the TDR. Press the “Read
from TDR” key first to read the values from the TDR.

Read from TDR – Reads the current values set in the TDR and displays them in
this tab. After an initial read the grey text fonts will turn to black text.
Write to TDR – Writes all the values set in this tab to the TDR. Values can be
ones uploaded (no change) or altered values using either the parameter’s

to select set values from a pull down menu, check or uncheck associated box, or
enter a value, as in “Start Offset”
Read File – Read and display in the tab the values previously saved to a file on
the PC. This permits quickly resetting all the values in the tab from a previously
saved tab setup.
Save File – Save all the displayed values to a file on the PC. Opens a standard
Windows SaveAs sub-window to select a file name and location to save TDR
Setups.
NOTE: Once a group of setups is downloaded to the TDR they can be saved in
the TDR by saving a trace (cable attached is optional). At the TDR press
“Memory” key and
