Saving Traces
Press the
key to access the memory functions shown in figure 4-1.

To save the current trace press the
►
key at “SAVE” and the menus will guide
you to enter a name for the trace as shown in figure 4-2.

Use the alpha-numeric keypad to enter the trace name. Each key cycles when
repeatedly pressed from the number to the next character shown above the key.
When the desired character is entered (after a delay in pressing) the cursor will
auto-advance one position to the right or press
►
key to skip the cursor to the
next digit position and repeat character entry until the trace name is completed.
To delete the last character entered press the “Bcksp” key. To change a
character entered use the
◄
key to reposition the character cursor (*) at the
desired position.
NOTE: The |__| symbol above the “1” key is a space and the “0” key has more
characters in its cycle than the “% & =” Full character set is: % & = - / + < > ‘
