Dialog
NOTE:
The „Dialog“ menu is only available if the „LT/RT“ option or the „Ste-
reo“ option is activated in the „Downmix” menu.
In the „Dialog“ menu it is possible to adjust the loudspeakers of the
dialogs. Increase the volume of the dialogs with the Cursor button „

reduce the volume with the Cursor button „

D.R.C.
With this function you can limit the maximum volume that can be set in
order to prevent damage to your loudspeakers.
On: The maximum volume that can be set is limited.
Off : The limit for the maximum volume that can be set is switched
off .
ATTENTION:
If „DRC” is switched off it is possible to turn up the volume to
such an extent that the loudspeakers may be damaged.
Auto: Automatic restriction of the maximum volume that can be set.
Digital Audio
Digital Output
Here you specify the settings for the digital Audio output.
SPDIF Off : Output of an analogue Audio signal, but no digital signal.
All: Output of a digital Audio signal. Use this setting if your amplifi er
is no two-channel stereo amplifi er.
PCM only: Output of a digital Audio signal that is converted to a
2-channel signal. Use this setting if your amplifi er is a two-channel
stereo amplifi er.
NOTE:
If there is no Audio output, even though you connected the DVD-
Player to an amplifi er, you will most likely have chosen an incorrect
setting for the Audio output.
LPCM Output
NOTE:
The „LPCM Output“ menu is only available if the „PCM only“ option is
activated in the „Dialog Output” menu.
Here you can set the sampling rate of the audio signal. Generally spea-
king, a higher sampling frequency produces a better audio signal.
