Displaying date and year
1. Switch the device to standby using the button (3).
2. Briely press the
Y-M-D button (8) repeatedly.
If the button is no longer pressed, the display will switch back to time after about 4 sec-
onds.
Toggling the display
The following can be shown alternatingly on the display:

Date
1. In order to activate this function, use the button (3) to switch the device to standby.
2. Keep the / button (5) pressed, until “
” appears briely on the display.
Switch off toggling:
To switch off Auto Toggle, keep the / button pressed again in
standby. “
” appears briely on the display.
NOTE:
Only the time is shown via the rotatable projector (10).
Setting the Clock
Automatic (in Standby only)
• After plugging the mains plug into the socket, the time data from the DCF77 station
is automatically transferred after a few minutes. As long as the “
” symbol is lashing,
the device is searching for the radio signal. If a radio signal has been found, the “ ”
symbol lights up. The correct time appears on the display.
• The time is automatically adjusted on the hour by the station signal.
• During summer time “DST
” appears in the display.
NOTE:
The signal can be received without problems within a radius of approx. 2000 km around
Frankfurt / Main, but interference may occur, depending on local conditions. This may
occur especially in buildings containing a high percentage of metal, as well as in proxim
-
ity to TV sets, PCs, mobile phones etc. which are switched on! If the reception cannot
be automatically adjusted after 10 minutes in spite of the alignment of the integrated
antenna, the reception in the respective location is too weak. In this case, set the time
manually or change location.
