Cleaning and maintenance
1
Before cleaning always unplug the
hair-drier from the mains supply!
0
You can clean your appliance with a
damp cloth. But do not immerse the
appliance in water or in other liquids!
0
The hair-drier should be protected
from dust. When necessary, clean the
air inlet and outlet grills gently using
an soft brush.
SanaFilter
The hair-drier is equipped with Sana-
Filter, a special replaceable filter that
purifies intake air up to 99.9% (effi-
ciency for particles >3 µm - see Fig. 8
graphic).
3
Spare SanaFilters are available at your
dealer.
Warning:
• Never use the hair-drier without Sana-
Filter so as not to jeopardize the proper
operation of the device.
• Never wash SanaFilter with water or
other detergent, as this will remove the
electrostatic charge of the fibers,
thereby deteriorating the filter proper-
ties of the material. Replace the dirty
filter.
1
Do not disassemble the filter while the
hair-drier is operating.
3
The dirty filter being replaced should
be discarded with other waste accord-
ing to local regulations.
Notes when replacing SanaFilter
Repacement of SanaFilter is recom-
mended when it is clogged with pollut-
ants. To check the degree of clogging
of the filter, it is possible to inspect the
filter by looking through the windows
provided.
It is recommended to replace the Sana-
Filter when a loss of hair-drier per-
formance is observed and also after a
period of 6 to 12 months according to
the frequency of use of the hair-drier:
• every 6 months for frequent use (every
day).
• every 12 months for average use
(3 times per week).
To better check the period that Sana-
Filter is used, the SanaFOEN® hair-drier
is equipped with a calendar function
(see below).

turning it counterclockwise until the
