PLAY MODE (14)
During playback of MP3 music:
Press once
= The current track is repeated continuously.
The symbol „ “ appears on the display.
Press twice
= The selected folder is repeated continu-
ously (
appears in the display).
Press three times = all music titles are repeated continuously
(The symbol „
ALL
“ appears on the
display.).
Press four times = Each track is played for 10 seconds
respectively. The message „INTRO“.
appears on the display.
Press fi ve times = All the music tracks are played back in
random order. The notifi cation „RAN“.
appears on the display.
Press six times = All the functions are deactivated. Playback
is continued normally.
FOLDER/PRE-UP (15)
Press the button during playback of an MP3 fi le in order to
select the next folder.
Programmed Play
This can be used to program any desired sequence of tracks.
(Only in USB-/CARD mode)
1. Press the SCAN/ button (4).
2. Press the MEM/CLK-ADJ button (16). The display will
show “P01” (memory position), and “MEM” and “001”
will fl ash. Use the / buttons (2) to select the desired
track and then press the MEM/CLK-ADJ button again.
The display changes to memory slot P02.
3. Select the next track with the / buttons and press the
MEM/CLK-ADJ button again. Repeat the procedure until
all the desired tracks are selected.
NOTE:
Once the storage capacity of the tracks to be pro-
grammed has been reached “FULL” fl ashes in the
display.
4. Press the ST/MO
button (5). The playback starts. The
notifi cation “MEM” will appear additionally in the display.
5. Press once the SCAN/ button to stop the playback while
retaining the program.
6. To play the programme back again, press the ST/MO
button.
The device stops automatically after all programmed titles
have been played. The listed sequence remains in the mem-
ory until you switch to a different operating mode.
Deleting a programmed sequence
To delete the program, press the SCAN/
button twice. The
notifi cation “MEM” will disappear.
Playing back Music in MP3 Format
With this device it is possible to play back pieces of music in
MP3 format.
Please note:
There is a huge variety of compression methods as well as
quality differences for USB sticks and memory cards.
Furthermore, the music industry does not adhere to fi xed
standards (copy protection).
For that reason you might experience problems in some rare
cases when playing back MP3 fi les. This is
not
a malfunction
of the device.
AUX IN socket
To connect analogue replay devices. Via this socket you can
also hear the sound of other playback devices such as MP3
players, CD players etc. through the loudspeakers.
1. Please connect the external device with a 3.5 mm stereo
jack plug to the AUX-IN socket.
2. Repeatedly press the FUNC button (1), until “AUX” is
shown in the display.
3. You will hear the sound playback from the external device
through the loudspeakers. Use the VOL / buttons (6) to
adjust the volume. The control buttons are not available.
4. For the remaining procedure please see the operating
instructions of the external sound source.
NOTE:
Adjust the volume of the external device to a comfortable
level.
Timer function
General
• Alarm with FM radio: Make sure to tune in the station to
be used for the alarm function.
• Alarm with USB or CARD mode: Make sure to connect
the desired storage medium. If no storage medium is
connected, the alarm will automatically sound with the
radio station listened to last.
• Once the pre-set time has been reached, the device
will activate the respective mode. “ ” will fl ash in the
display.
• Displaying the currently set alarm time: Press the DISPLAY
button (10 on the remote control) repeatedly during
playback. The display will show the current clock time,
the currently set alarm time, the alarm mode and the
selected volume level.
Setting the timer
Use this function to switch the device on or off at a specifi c
time. Proceed as follows:
