Start-up of the Device / Introduction
• Select a suitable location for the device, such as a dry,

machine.
• Ensure that the device is sufficiently ventilated!
• Place the device where it is not exposed to direct sunlight.
• Do
not
place anything on top of the device.
• Please check whether you need to install the drive belt
on the motor pully. To do that, please turn the turntable
until the recess is aligned with the motor. You will be able
to see the brass-coloured drive roller then. Carefully pull
the drive belt away from the turntable a bit and centre it
above the drive roller of the motor.
• Put the turntable mat onto the turntable before you put
a record on.
• Please install the protective cap for the record needle if
you do not use the device.
• Sensitive surfaces may be protected by plastic foil.
Remove this foil.
Connect the Device to a Stereo System
There are two different ways to connect the device to your
stereo system. You can use a cinch cable (2 x RCA) to connect
the device.
a) If your amplifier has a PHONO input, connect the device
to this input. Please create a ground connection between
the ground jack (12) and your amplifier. (The ground cable
is not included in the scope of delivery).
WARNING: Important!
Please pay attention that the switch (14) on the back of
the device is in the PHONO position! Otherwise, the
playback might be very loud and might damage your
Hi-Fi equipment. We do not assume any liability for
possible consequential damages.
b) If your amplifier does not have a PHONO input anymore,
please connect the device to the AUX IN jacks of your
amplifier.
In order to enable playback via the integrated amplifier,
the switch (14) must be in the LINE position.
NOTE:
Please ensure that the plug-in connectors are firmly in
place. Poor connections can result in interference.
Power Supply
1. Ensure that the voltage is the same as that indicated on
the model identification plate.
2. Insert the grid plug into a properly installed three prong
socket. Connect the device with the plug connector by
inserting its plug into the DC 15 V
jack of the
device.
CAUTION:
• Only use the supplied power adaptor for this device.
Do not use for other devices.
• Only use power adaptor with 15 V (
), other
adaptors may cause damage to the device.
NOTE:
If the unit is not used for a long period of time, unplug the
mains plug from the socket.
Transportation Safety Lock (Locking Screw)
To protect the turntable from damages in transport, the
locking screw (1) was turned upwards.
• Before you can use the turntable, you have to completely
move down the screw in clockwise direction with a
screwdriver.
• Before you transport the turntable, please turn the screw
up again.
