EMERGENCY SERVICES
Pick Protection has partnered with Unipart Security’s Monitored Alarm Receiving
Centre (ARC) which is certified to BS: 8484 and BS: 5979 (Category II).
The allows ARC operators to summon a faster emergency response than what is
available to the general public via the 999 system.
As a result of this, Unipart have strict guidelines to follow when they call the
emergency services and certain criteria must be met, these include:
> Situation is serious enough to require the emergency services
> Exact location is confirmed
> Incident can clearly be heard
If any of the above cannot be confirmed, the ARC operators are unable to call the
emergency services. In this situation the operators will make contact with your
agreed escalation protocol.
