3.2.4. Analogue/Digital-inputs
Analogue/digital-inputs allows for selection of analogue sensors with a voltage output, digital sensors
with frequency, impulse or status output or NTC-temperature sensor.
Apart from the signal type, a sensor designation, the unit, the number of decimal places and the sen-
sor type (A_______) have to be assigned. The list of the available sensor types can be found in the
chapter 12.1. These parameters will be taken over into the sensor list (chapter 3.3).
Voltage sensor
In case of a voltage sensor, the voltage range (min./max.) and the corresponding scaling can be en-
tered. Following options can be chosen: To suppress (and ignore) an exceeding or underrunning of
the voltage range or to put the corresponding measuring value on “overscale”. In case of suppressing
the exceeding or the underrunning, the value will be put on the respectively permitted extreme value.
