9.3.3. Sensors with frequency output
Sensors with a frequency output are normally wind speed sensors (e.g. BASIC). The sensors deliver
the frequency normally as an OC (e.g. BASIC), as a switch contact and/or as an active voltage signal.
9.3.4. Rain gauges with pulse output
Rain gauges normally deliver the pulses via a switch contact or an OC.
9.3.4.1. Rain gauges with pulse output - debouncing
As the generated pulse signal due to the mechanical structure normally bounces, inside the met[LOG]
a debouncing for the digital inputs can be activated. Thereby the number of the permitted impulses per
second is limited to a maximum of 3 per second (3Hz).
9.3.4.2. Rain gauges with pulse output - linearization
Rain gauges with tipping bucket in general have an intensity-dependent error measuring the amount
of precipitation. This also applies to the LAMBRECHT sensors 15189, 15188 and 1518H3. For these
sensors an intensity correction per digital input can be activated inside the met[LOG].
9.3.5. NTC-temperature-sensors
For a temperature measurement an NTC-temperature sensor can be connected. For the best possible
measuring result the use of the LAMBRECHT NTC-temperature sensor is recommended (tolerance:
±0.2 °C at 25 °C, resistance: 10 kOhm at 25 °C).
