Sta/Sth are ambient terminals that connected with the control of the ma-
chine, allow the user to adjust the temperature and humidity, and can be
installed fl ush and are compatible with the main wall boxes on the market.
The temperature and humidity adjustment is simple and intuitive thanks to
the front knob; the user can change some environment settings, such as
temperature.
General notes
Avoid installing the boards in environments with the following characteristics:
•
relative humidity greater than that indicated;
•
strong vibrations or shocks;
•
exposure to water jets;
•
exposure to corrosive and pollutant atmospheres (e.g.: sulphur and am-
monia gases, sea mist, smoke) may cause corrosion and/or oxidation;
•
high magnetic and/or radio interference (close to antennas for example);
•
exposure to direct sunlight and atmospheric agents in general;
•
great and rapid fl uctuations in the ambient temperature;
•
environments containing explosive or fl ammable gas mixtures;
•
exposure to dust (formation of corrosive coating with possible oxida-
tion and reduction of insulation).
Installation warnings
These terminals are designed for fl ush mounting with regulatory compli-
ance boxes.
1. Before carrying out any operation on the terminal, remove power
from the device by switching the master switch of the electrical
panel to OFF, then remove the front of the terminal and then the
back to perform the electrical connections;
2. use a shielded three-conductor cable for the serial connection, AWG
20-22. The length of the network should not exceed 500m. For very
large networks add a 120 ohm resistor between RX / TX+ and RX/TX- of
the fi rst and last terminal to avoid possible communication problems.
Assembly
To assemble the rear section a Ø 65 mm by 31 mm deep box is required.
