ARE THERE SEPARATE MODELS OF AEROCLEAN FOR TOP
LOADING VS FRONT LOADING WASHING MACHINES or
LOW FLOW VS HIGH FLOW?
No. The AeroClean Model you purchased works on almost any
washing machine, front or top loading. There is no operating
difference between low flow or high flow units. The AeroClean has
the green lever to regulate water flow, so water pressure is not an issue.

DO TOUGH STAINS NEED TO BE PRETREATED?
We do recommend that you pre-treat stains.

DO I NEED TO DO ANYTHING SPECIAL TO THE
AEROCLEAN IF I GO ON VACATION?
If you go on vacation or won
’
t be using your washer for an extended
period, we recommend unplugging the power supply to the AeroClean
and that you turn off your water supply.

DOES THE AEROCLEAN WORK WITH ALL WATER
QUALITIES?
The AeroClean works with all typical household water qualities.
However, the better quality of the water, the better results you will
have. If your water has high iron content, it is recommended that you
use a pre-filter specifically designed for removing iron.

CAN I STILL USE BLEACH?
Yes. It is recommended that you use bleach, at least once a month,
to maintain your crisp whites.

SHOULD I CHANGE THE HOSES ON MY WASHING
MACHINE WHEN INSTALLING THE AEROCLEAN?
Yes. The manufacturer of the AeroClean System strongly recommends
that, when you have the System installed, you replace your existing
washing machine hoses either with ozone compatible (
EPDM lined
)
hoses or stainless-steel hoses, which we can sell to you. Use of your
existing washing machine hoses increases the likelihood of leaks and
decreases the effectiveness and environmental benefits of your new
AeroClean System. The hoses should be changed approximately every 5
years.
