Using
Operate the airbrush gun with a pressure of 1.1 – 2.75 bar. When
using higher pressure than the max. permitted pressure of 6.9
bar for operating the unit, its self life will be reduced drastically.
Operate the airbrush gun using a compressor with an air suction
capacity of at least 10 l/min or using a suitable compressed air
can.
Working Principle
The airbrush gun operates on the suction principle. The com-
pressed air, which delivers the spraying material, is connected to
the air inlet (6) and is lead through the gun body. The air passes the
nozzle when pressing the trigger (2). An underpressure is
generated by the high air flow speed. As a result, the spraying
material is drawn from the material cup (5) and delivered and
atomised at the same time.
Preparing the Surface to be painted
The object to be painted, or the surface, etc. has to be clean, dry
and free of grease and dust. Metal surfaces must be stainless.
Since the fine sprayed paint is dispersed in a very thin layer on the
surface, roughness would have a negative effect on the paint result.
Using
1. Before starting to work, check the trigger (2) to make sure it
moves freely.
2. Connect one end of the air hose (8) with the air connection (6) of
the airbrush gun.
3. Connect the other end of the air hose with the R ¼“ air adaptor
(7). Screw an air quick coupling adaptor to this adaptor and
connect the air quick coupling adaptor to the compressed air
supply. The air should be regulated and filtered. Refer to the
parameters stated in the technical data when setting up the air
pressure.
