Electrical connection

5.3.3

The compressor is supplied with an electrical lead
and, depending on the model, with a plug (see
diagram at right).
To  connect up to the power supply just insert the
plug in the mains power socket.
Check that the data on the compressor ID plate is
compatible with mains power supply, especially as
regards rated current and voltage.
The mains power system must have an efficient
ground (earth); check that the earth resistance value
complies with the protection / operational
requirements of the compressor electrical system.

WARNING

Before inserting the plug, check that the electrical system complies with the
standards in force in the country of installation. A proper earth (ground) system is an
essential safety requisite.
An efficient compressor ground (earth) system is an essential compressor safety
requisite.
The mains power connection plug must be type-approved in compliance with the
relevant standards and have an ON-OFF switch (not supplied).
