1. Locate the supplied louver template as shown
below.
2. Mark air exit slots on bottom using the supplied
template as shown.
Note:
Take care and test painted areas prior to
using any type of paint remover, rubbing
alcohols or cleaners to remove any pen lines

3. Use a rotary cutting tool and sanding drum to cut
the cowl louvers as needed.
4. Mount cowl to the fuse using
(2) 4-40x16mm button style hex head bolts
(2) 6-32 hex head bolts
(4)#6 bonded washers
Note:
We have found this to be adequate cooling
for the DA120. Depending on your engine’s
operating temperature, you may need to allow
for more exit air cooling for your engine to run
at its recommended operating temperature.
Always check the operating temperature of
your engine to prevent any damage from
occurring. Aeroworks is not responsible for
damages incurred from improper engine
cooling.
