6.4. EMERGENCY STOP AND
RESTART
Press the machine emergency stop
button when there is imminent danger.
Its functions are immediately stopped.
To restart the machine, act as follows.
1.
Turn the main cut-off switch
(A)
to
0
(OFF)
to switch off electrical power.
2.
After having re-established the normal
operating conditions, the pushbutton
must be released to authorize the
machinery to restart.
3.
Restart the machine and check that it
functions correctly (see
6.3.
“Switching
the machine on and off”).
6.5. FORMAT CHANGE
Before starting to operate with different features with respect to previous ones, you must perform some
adjustments on the machine.
The interventions which may be performed are indicated as follows.
‒
Conveyor belt positioning.
‒
Positioning of side pressure units.
‒
Height setting of work table.
6.6. CONVEYOR BELT
POSITIONING
Proceed as indicated.
1.
Adjust the distance between conveyor
belts
(Q)
, using the handwheel
(R)
, in
order to slightly place them on the box.

Important
To prevent the box from crushing, do not
tighten the conveyor belts too much.
6.7. POSITIONING OF TOP
TAPING UNIT
Proceed as indicated.
1.
Adjust the height of the taping unit using
handwheel
(M)
so that to slightly place
the support of taping unit
(N)
on the
box.

Important
To avoid box crushing, do not
excessively lower the taping unit
support.
