1.
Deactivate the main electrical knife to stop the machine under safe conditions.
2.
Remove screw
(V)
to disassemble the handwheel
(M)
.
3.
Remove transmission cover
(C)
.
4.
Remove link
(T)
and remove chain
(S)
.
5.
Install a new chain, closing it with the link.
6.
Refit guard
(C)
.
7.
Fit back the handwheel
(M)
and lock it with screw
(V)
.
8.
Restart the machine and check that it functions correctly.

Caution - Warning
Before re-starting the machine, check that no tools or other equipment has been left near the moving parts.
9.5. REPLACING THE BLADE
1.
To replace the blade, raise the guard
(A)
as shown in the figure.
2.
Loosen the screws
(B)

3.
Remove the blade
(C)
.
4.
Insert the new blade, making sure the
sharp side is correctly positioned.
5.
Tighten the screws
(B)
.
6.
Release the guard
(A)
.

Important
Make sure the blade does not interfere
with the guard before fastening it in
place.
