Troubleshooting
Any malfunctions that cannot be removed by means of the measures
described in this chapter may only be repaired by the manufacturer or by
qualified persons.
Problem
Possible reason
Repair
Burner switches off at
irregular intervals due to
malfunctions
A) Air accumulations in
the suction line because
pipe cross section is too
great.
When the anti-siphon
valve opens after the
pre-aeration time of the
burner, a greater air
bubble may pass
through which causes
the burner to switch off
A) Properly rate the suc-
tion line (see chapter
"Rating the suction line")
B) High flow rates and
suction pressure can
lead to major air accu-
mulations in the filter
cup which may cause
the burner to be
switched off
B) Replace the product
by a combination of fuel
oil filter and de-aerator
(preferably FloCo-Top-1
or FloCo-Top-2)
