The following describes the functions of the SlideWriter's controls,
display and connectors.

This switch initiates a system reset and moves the filter wheel (three
colored glass lenses) to the neutral position.
This allows selection of an internal function when the SlideWriter
ready light (4) is on. Pressing this switch displays the number of the
function on the Current Exposure Display. Press it repeatedly or hold
it down to increase the displayed number to the function number
desired. If the desired number is passed, the SlideWriter will repeat
the numbers 1 to 11. A complete description of these functions can
be found in section 5.
